Hacking has been in the news for the last few years. There was the Sony Hack, DNC emails and US Olympic athletes medical records released via hacking. There is a great tv show called Mr. Robot that shows various levels of hacking techniques. But there is a different type of hacking called Ransomware that has been in the news of late.

Marijuana and the Law

On April 12, 2017, the Riverside County Law Library hosted “Marijuana and the Law,” an MCLE event for National Library Week. The MCLE was presented by Mike Donaldson, Esq and Deputy District Attorney Greg Rollins. Both were amazing speakers and were able to give those in attendance the opportunity to hear about the different sides of the passage of Marijuana laws.

Going Solo

On February 23, 2017 the Riverside County Law Library hosted, “The Small Firm Practice: Stories, Challenges, and Inspirations” from 6pm to 8:30pm. This MCLE was organized by the Asian Pacific American Lawyers of the Inland Empire. (APALIE) A four person panel covered the challenges of a solo practitioner. The panelists were Jennifer Gerard, Brian Pearcy, Greg Rizio and Ami Sheth Sagel, all Riverside attorneys.
