About the Speaker(s)
Wais Azami is an attorney who specializes in the area of Crimmigration; that is, the legal practice of Criminal and Immigration defense. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from California State University of Fullerton. He then went on to pursue his legal education in California Southern Law School, successfully passing the California State Bar in 2016. Wais has a solo practice with offices in both Riverside and Orange County.
Marissa Moromito is an associate attorney at Best Best & Kreiger, LLP. Her area of practice focuses on employee rights and benefits. She received her BA in Comparative Literature and Multimedia Communication from the University of Santa Barbara. As Marissa pursued a J.D. at U.C. Davis Law School, she was admitted into the Moot Court Honors Board and served as an Executive Editor for U.C. Davis’ Business Law Journal. Marissa was successfully admitted into the State Bar of California in 2016.
